Okay..I know most of what you're about to read is just a bunch of rambling about how much I love Kelly Clarkson. But it's true, I do love her! And I can't really put into words how inspirational she is to me, but I sure did try! So if it starts not making sense anymore, just remember Kelly is my Idol and I do love and adore her!...yes I love her more than you, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying her. Just remember, she was mine first...
As all of you well know I watch American Idol faithfully. But that's not what I'm here to talk about. I'm here to talk about Kelly. It doesn't really matter what your taste in music is, the girl can sing and I love her! This is my fan tribute to the very sweet, very beautiful and without a doubt very talented Miss Kelly Clarkson.
From the minute I saw Kelly on American Idol I knew she was going to go places. Watching her sing Respect was when I actually realized she was going to win. Her voice was so strong, so amazing, I couldn't imagine anyone else winning but her. What amazed me most was how sweet and modest she was about the whole thing. She always took the judges comments with respect and was never upset if something critical was said about her performance. (Which wasn't very often.) My favorite performance by far during the whole season was on Big Band Night when she sang Stuff Like That There. Kelly always stood out in my mind and when the finale rolled around and she was one of the two standing on that stage, I was more than excited. You better believe I was a nervous wreck. I wanted SO badly for her to win. Deep down inside I knew she had to win she had the stronger voice of the two. But half of me thought about all those screaming idiot girls with a crush on Justin. Gah, that guy bugged me. But when it was announced she had won, everything just came together. She was finally the American Idol. Awwww and when she sang her final song and started crying, it justified the whole experience for me, she definetly deserved this.
The passing weeks after winning, only proved how much I loved Kelly. All the interviews she did showed how geniune and sweet Kelly really is. She was such a down to earth girl! She outwardly admitted to being a dork and said she would never change, she would always be Kelly. I loved that! There aren't too many artists out there like her. She is such not only an inspiration, she is someone that little girls can really look up to. Kelly has proved you don't always have to use sex to sell. Another plus about her. She's fine being herself and hasn't conformed to that "perfect" cookie cutter look everyone else in Hollywood has. I am in no way, shapy or form saying that she isn't one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life; I'm just saying she's okay with who she is and hasn't changed for the media's sake. Believe me..you look through some of the pics I've posted and then come back and tell me she isn't amazing!
She also adores her fans! Knowing without them she would have everything she has now. She actually appreciates all of us out there, and that my friends, is a very nice thing. And as a fan, meeting her would be..yeah this will sound so cheesy...like a dream come true. Seriously.
Now I know we've talked voice a little bit before, but here I go again. I cannot get over how strong and natural her Kelly's voice really is. There is no one else out there that sings like she does. She has amazing range and can sing just about any style of music. Her voice has so much depth and soul to it....man am I jealous. The things I would do to be able to sing like that...well that's a different story. But there is no denying that she can sing damn good!
Kelly is my idol and I love her to death! Her music inspires me not only as a person but through my writing..which I really need sometimes. She is just amazing and I know she will continue to be successful in whatever she persues. Kelly's around to stay! Whooo!
